Founded by Luke Davies as a sole trader in 2009 and incorporated in 2012, Davies Construction has grown into the most decorated residential builder on Tasmania's Northwest Coast. Over 50 industry awards, including MBA Residential Builder of the Year (2024), multiple HIA Tasmanian Home of the Year titles, and the National Master Builder Sustainability Award.
Projects are taken selectively so every client gets focused attention from concept through to handover. The approach combines lean construction methodology (drawn from the Toyota Production System), high-performance building science, and Passivhaus certification: the world's leading standard for thermal comfort and energy efficiency.

- Passivhaus certified homes: formally certified to the world's leading building performance standard, heating energy ≤15 kWh/m²/year
- Renovations and extensions: whole-house transformations through to kitchens, bathrooms, roofs, and energy upgrades
- Architect-builder integration: design and construction through a single engagement with Align Architecture
- Pre-construction service: feasibility, concept design, and a fixed-price contract before any build commits
- Demolitions: residential and commercial, full permit and hazardous material coordination
